Seismic imaging

Advanced fuels and fluids
bp develops premium fuels and high‑performance fluids designed to meet specific customer needs. The sectors we serve include automotive, aviation, marine and heavy industry and high-performance areas including motorsport.
High-performance computing
Our Center for High‑Performance Computing in Houston gives us the computational capacity to model and analyze the complex datasets used in seismic imaging, reservoir engineering, applied sciences and molecular biology.
Biosciences
Our San Diego biosciences center supports our biofuels activities by developing ways to maximize the energy yield from bio-feedstocks. The team also uses microbiology to improve our understanding of what’s happening in reservoirs and oil and gas production systems.
