bp operates a network of refineries in the United States and Europe that help provide reliable fuel supply and flexibility to meet market demand.
Sites include Whiting and Cherry Point in the US, and Rotterdam, Castellón and Lingen in Europe, as well as Gelsenkirchen, which we have agreed to sell to the Klesch Group subject to conditions including regulatory and governmental approvals.
Together, these refineries can process up to 1.5 million barrels a day, producing fuels such as gasoline, diesel, jet fuel and a small amount of sustainable aviation fuel. They are closely integrated with bp’s trading, logistics and retail networks.
bp’s terminals and pipelines serve as the energy transportation and delivery hubs for bp businesses and third parties across America, the UK, France and South Africa. We service 3,400 miles of pipelines across our operations – a combination of owned, joint venture and service level agreements.
