4 new countries join bp Tollbox for EETS K1 network.
Four new countries join bp Tollbox for EETS K1 network.Denmark, Croatia, Slovenia and Slovakia (plus the A1 highway in Poland) have recently joined the bp Tollbox for EETS K1 network, making a total of 19 European countries now on board. Denmark joins the list with toll payment charges for HGVs changing from time-based to distance-based. With Eurovignette no longer required there, fleets can benefit from the bp Tollbox for EETS K1.
Regulation changes in Germany
From 1 July 2024, anyone travelling across Germany in a vehicle weighing 3.5 tonnes or above will have to pay toll charges. This includes vans, small trucks and buses that may never have had to pay tolls before.
Use the CO₂ class calculator
For the CO₂ surcharges in Germany, there will be five classes and, as a default, every vehicle will be put in Class 1, the most expensive band. The good news is, if your vehicle was registered after June 2019, you can apply for a class reduction by providing the necessary evidence through the bp customer portal.
